Why delete your account

You may choose to delete your FlashMind account if you no longer want to use the app, want your personal data removed from FlashMind systems, or are exercising your privacy rights under applicable law.

What data is removed

After we verify and process your request, account deletion removes study materials, learning progress, profile data, and other personal data associated with your FlashMind account from our active systems, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

• Uploaded documents and extracted text used for study tools.
• Flashcard decks, quiz history, and Today's Revision records.
• Learning score, streaks, and progress tracking data.
• Account profile and authentication records tied to your account.

What data may remain

Some information may be retained where required or permitted by law, including records needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements. Backup copies may persist for a limited period before being deleted according to our retention practices.

Deleting your FlashMind account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel subscriptions separately in your device's store subscription settings.

How to request deletion

To request deletion, email FlashMind support from the email address connected to your account:

1. Send a request to support@flashmind.app.
2. Use the subject line "Delete FlashMind account".
3. Include the email address associated with your FlashMind account.
4. Confirm that you want your account and associated personal data deleted.

Expected processing time

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days. If we need additional information to confirm your identity or account ownership, we will contact you at the email address associated with your request.
