Terms of Service

Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using FlashMind, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use FlashMind.

Accounts

Some features require a FlashMind account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. When you sign in on multiple devices, progress, streaks, learning score, flashcards, quizzes, revision tasks, and FlashMind Pro status may sync across devices linked to the same account.

You must provide accurate account information and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use FlashMind for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Upload materials you do not have the right to use or distribute.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse engineer, or compromise the app or its infrastructure.
• Misuse AI Study Tools to generate harmful, infringing, or deceptive content.
• Circumvent subscription, entitlement, or access controls.

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or creates risk for FlashMind, other users, or third parties.

Subscriptions and FlashMind Pro

FlashMind Pro unlocks AI Study Tools (Summarize, flashcard generation, quiz generation, mind maps, AI Learning Coach) and Performance Insights. FlashMind Pro is available as Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime. Pricing is displayed by the Apple App Store or Google Play at purchase time and may vary by region and store.

Billing

Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play through RevenueCat. FlashMind does not charge payment cards directly and does not store payment card details. Your store account is billed according to the plan you select and the policies of the applicable store.

Renewals

Monthly and Yearly FlashMind Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings before the renewal date. Lifetime purchases grant permanent FlashMind Pro access and do not renew.

Cancellation

You may cancel a recurring subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically delete your FlashMind account or previously uploaded content. Access to FlashMind Pro continues until the end of the current billing period unless otherwise required by applicable store policy.

Refunds

Refund requests for App Store or Google Play purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies. FlashMind cannot issue refunds for store-processed transactions directly. Contact the applicable store for billing disputes or refund eligibility.

Intellectual Property

FlashMind, including its app design, branding, software, and content we provide, is owned by FlashMind or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of FlashMind or its underlying technology.

User Content

You retain ownership of study materials you upload, subject to the rights needed for FlashMind to host, process, sync, and display that content so the app can function. You represent that you have the necessary rights to upload and use your materials within FlashMind.

AI-Generated Content

AI-generated summaries, flashcards, quizzes, mind maps, explanations, and AI Learning Coach responses are created from your uploaded materials. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it for study or decision-making. FlashMind does not guarantee factual accuracy for all generated content and does not guarantee exam results or academic outcomes.

Offline Use

FlashMind may cache revision tasks, flashcard decks, and quizzes locally so cached content can be studied offline. AI generation, document upload, and AI Learning Coach require an internet connection.

Disclaimer

FlashMind is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. FlashMind is a study tool and does not provide professional, medical, legal, or academic certification advice. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from loss of data in all circumstances.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FlashMind and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to FlashMind will not exceed the amount you paid for FlashMind Pro in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or zero if you used only the free version.

Termination

You may stop using FlashMind at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service, users, or third parties. You may request account deletion as described in our Delete Account page and Privacy Policy. Termination of your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or by other appropriate means. Continued use of FlashMind after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
